Rejoice Always

*Note: Post art is conceptual and will not be used in any final product. I just thought it looked cool.

This will be a short post tonight because the verse is short.

Having a little gratitude goes a long way to having a positive time in your life.

Joy is a wonderful emotion to hold on to, especially when you’re not sure where the day (or night) will take you.

Take each day as it comes, even if you’re parsimonious with the joy of the day to yourself. Each day passes, leading to the next.

Sometimes we’ll feel super disappointed, other times we’ll be on top of the world and invincible.

Whatever station we may find ourselves in, it is on us to find value and joy in each day as it comes.

If things don’t go as planned, then adjust the plan and make it work.

There’s always something to be happy about in each day. We must be open enough to find it within ourselves and in our everyday experiences.

Pray to the Father, and simply say, “Thank you for giving me another day to live. Help me find the joy you’ve brought to today so I can fill myself with Your light. Thank you for closing the doors that are not meant for me and thank you for opening the doors that are meant for me. May Your name be blessed forever.”

“Rejoice always…” (1 Thessalonians 5:16 [ESV]).
