Extension
After careful consideration and reading, I’ve delayed the release of The Voided Promises of Noble Songs and Crown of the Orphic Queen. Both manuscripts need additional love to reach the standard and depth they deserve, and Greek mythology especially needs to be done with care and respect for primary sources without tarnishing the vision of the Orphic Hymns version of Persephone.
These stories are like my own children, and COTOQ ended up growing into something far grander than I initially expected, meaning it needs work to maintain the quality it deserves.
So, to give them the care they need, I’m taking an extra month of working on the prose for both novels and refining my manga panels and character portraits for a cleaner aesthetic in the Orchestrylus Odyssey series.
Numinous: The Golden Tunists will be released on schedule at the end of the year, as that novel has been in the works of refinement for some time now.
With all my professional deadlines and work piling up outside of writing novels, I haven’t had the luxury of dedicating my best to my art, and I feel it needs to meet a certain quality standard. The final versions of these novels need to be the best possible work I can offer as an author, because my stories mean a great deal to me. I want to improve these books as much as possible.
This means restructuring some chapters for better pace and cleaning up manga panels to be far more legible in the final product. I believe sculpting things out on a longer time frame will be worth the effort.
