You Can’t Have Male Without Female

The title seems obvious to say, but it’s the truth.

God created man to steward the creation, but not to do it alone.

Women were always in Yahweh’s mind when He formed the universe.

Depending on where you stand regarding an older universe or a younger one (one reason the world thinks Christians are crazy), the reality is that male and female were integrated into the design of all creatures before Adam or Eve (Chavah in Hebrew) walked in the Garden of Eden. I’m personally an old-Earth creationist, since the universe is by all appearances ancient.

Back to the topic at hand, though.

The way God created woman is interesting for a few different reasons.

1.     She shows man that he can’t be complete without a feminine aspect to his life.

2.     Women are the ones who bear life. Man supplies the spark; women bring it to fruition.

3.     In certain traditions—such as Kabbalah and alchemy—the man and woman coming together is a point of focus for the completion of the soul.

4.     Women show God’s more tender side of His nature, whereas man images God in masculine aspects.

Despite the “women are all evil” underpinnings of the manosphere (a pathetic inverse image of feminism) God seems to take a different approach to women. And when we don’t understand God’s intent for male and female, disaster often follows.

There are many myths in atheistic belief systems, and even within Christendom itself.

1.     Men are not greater in importance than women, and women are equal as human beings. God used male priests because while men and women are equal, their roles are different in His ultimate paradigm for the world. Don’t believe me? Try multitasking as a man like a woman can. It’s nigh impossible. It’s great for taking care of the kids, though.

2.     God used women in many roles that were typically for males, such as prophetesses, judges, and queens who held authority over the kingdom as well. God saved the Hebrews in the ancient Persian Empire using Esther and her feminine charms.

3.     The only time you truly see a man above a woman is in the context of marriage, which is due to it being a picture of Christ and the Church. But let me ask you something. Is God a loving God? Doesn’t He always want the best for you? Our God is loving to those of us who keep His commandments and even gives atheists air to breathe and a star to keep their planet warm without asking for anything. A woman is to be loved and cared for in a marriage, not trodden down. If we treat our wives, girlfriends, or even just female friends with love and respect, we image the God who sustains all and loves humanity.

4.     God uses the image of a woman in many prophetic sections of the Bible, and the beauty of women is something God places throughout the Scriptures. This is not only outward but inward beauty in tandem with attractiveness. What good is an amazingly attractive woman without a gentle soul? In saying that, both sexes should be kind to others and not use their station to oppress the other.

5.     Jesus often spoke with women in a way that made most ancient people confused. If the Creator of the Universe treated women with such kindness and love, then where does the manosphere (making feminism for men isn’t manly, you dolts) get off shunning them because they can’t step up to a challenge?

Women have a special place in the Scriptures, and most critiques of the Bible from feminists are misplaced straw man arguments. God loves women and expects men to love them as He does.

Switching gears for a second, there’s a crisis among young men who shun women off or think they can’t land a decent partner. Those women still exist—you just must find them. And how does a young man find a Proverbs 31 woman?

“And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man He made into a woman and brought her to the man” (Genesis 2:22 [ESV]).

You go to the source. You go to Yahweh Himself. According to the Talmudic debates in Sotah 2a, 40 days before a man is born, heaven declares whose daughter he is to marry.

In the Kabbalistic tradition, marriage partners are each half of the other’s soul.

Matches are made in heaven, so ask God to send the one He made just for you.

Let’s end the gender wars already and go back to the ancient paths, where the true light is found.

This day (March 8th) is for the ladies, but men also have a role to play in ensuring the future of both sexes.

Blessings and shalom to you and yours, whether you’re a man or woman!
