War Drums Everywhere

It is Science Fiction Day, and while I’d love to talk about the genre that defined a generation—I can’t help but see the writing on the wall on the world stage in things-not-so-fictitious. The world has been quite eventful lately, don’t you think?

I’m certainly no political expert.

But it doesn’t take a degree in something to be well-informed.

Iran is having the worst protests and unrest since the 2022 debacle involving the hijab protests for Mahsa Amini (Link 01).

On top of that, President Trump is threatening to intervene (Link 02) if Iran keeps killing innocent protesters who are dog-tired of their radical-Islamic oppressors.

I can’t help but wonder if there are intelligence agencies involved in the protests, as the true ruler of Iran has encouraged the protesters to fight for freedom from the dictator Khamenei.

This comes after an Israeli visit to Mar-a-Lago with Prime Minister Netanyahu, and a mutual agreement to bomb Iran again if they so much as think of restarting their nuclear ambitions.

I know I don’t often get political on here, but I must say, we are on the cusp of a massive global conflict. Will it erupt into WW3? Time will tell.

China and Taiwan.

Israel, the USA, and Iran.

Russia and Ukraine (and even NATO).

USA and Venezuela.

A shoddy ceasefire in Cambodia and Thailand.

Civil war in Syria.

European countries and Germany are now changing reserve laws and offering additional incentives for those up to age 65 in the case of a major escalation (Link 03).

We are seeing similar precursors to what led to World War II.

Supporting terrorists like Hamas is now seen as noble by the laypeople, especially those on the left, who for some reason have a hateful relationship toward Christians and Jews, but openly want Sharia law. Make it make sense!

I’ve met many wonderful Muslim people, and I’m not saying anything negative about moderate Islam. But radical Islam is the way of brutality and rescinds genuine progress, and must be dealt with, whether by reform or by force—seeing as they only understand force, something the moderate Saudi Arabia has mentioned many times.

My thoughts are we will see (though I’ve stated I believe WW3 has already quietly started with events as recent as 2022’s war in Ukraine) an open global conflict in the next five years, but likely sooner than that. This year’s already shaping up to be worse than last year.

I’m a positive person by nature, but I also believe in paying attention to the signs of the times (but I don’t believe this is the biblical End Times).

Silver and gold are skyrocketing, and silver has surpassed oil a few times even though it bounces up and down. That’s not a good sign for the economic balance of power and the petrodollar on the world stage as assets are reevaluated to new standards. Not solely responsible for anything, but if we decide to change things up, expect massive economic collapses in the coming years. Also, I’m not saying that WILL happen, but anything is possible.

As soon as President Trump renamed the Department of Defense back to the Department of War, I knew something was up with the world stage. He’s warned of WW3 many times in the past year.

And while you might not like the president—though as Christians we must respect our leaders by biblical principle—you must remember he’s got intel that the common populace simply doesn’t have.

I believe in having a powerful military to maintain righteousness among nations. Weakness does not win wars. Falling for terrorist propaganda does not win wars.

Powerful warriors and the warrior ethos win the wars and keep nations at peace. Until Yeshua returns, there will be war, and He prophesied the time before His return would be full of war.

There is no escaping this.

These events will be looked back on in eighty years as another turning point in history.

I’ve said this before, but the powers fighting World War I and World War II didn’t actively call it that until after the fact.

I believe we’re close to it. I don’t believe it’s the last of the last days yet, but we’re told by the Bible that things will only get worse in the time before Yeshua returns to rescue humanity.

End Times? Likely not.

Hard times? You bet.

Even saying this, remember God ultimately has sovereign control of the hearts of kings and will bring history to the intended path one way or another.

As Christians, we can have peace knowing this.

May you shine the light of Christ in a dark time to illuminate the way to peace.

Shalom.
