Truth and Light (You Can’t Cancel the Truth)
Letting your light shine before others is of the utmost importance in the time in which we are living. I don’t believe we are in the End Times as Scripture defines them, but we are in a tough time.
I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, yet I don’t judge those in the public eye who are careful about their religious expression.
But we are not to hide our faith from others.
The best way to show others Christ in us is to live it, but hiding behind political correctness and not wanting to be seen as “too religious” isn’t the way either.
Some people think religious people are crazy. And I, frankly, don’t care.
Crazy is saying Charlie Kirk was a time traveler and had agents following him since he was young. That’s crazy.
Believing there’s a God who created this universe and has a plan for it is the sanest thing imaginable in modern society.
Thinking this all came from a reasonless explosion of matter is ridiculous.
Color.
Music.
Conversational understanding.
These things can’t just rise in a random universe with no reason behind it.
I want to shine my light before others, not for commendation, but for truth.
I backed off from my faith on X (Twitter) for reasons that aren’t congruent with faithful expression.
If you want to limit your posts about Jesus to one or two times a year, more power to you.
But God has been convicting me lately.
I should share my faith as often as I can. Not being “preachy” about it, but just to share the faith, Jesus, and the Torah with others.
We are to be bold against a world that would have us believe this all came to be from non-reasoning, non-conscious processes.
I will not be silent about the gift of the gospel.
My social media posts shifted toward being secular-friendly, but that’s over now.
Jesus Christ (Yeshua) is the light of the world. I will not hide him away because of alienation or being perceived as “too Christian.”
If the light lives in me, I should offer that same light to others around me.
The time in which we are living will go down as historic to those 100 years removed from our era.
I want to be on the right side of God’s plan, meaning I want to share the gift of Jesus with as many people as possible.
Sometimes I have takes that are “out-there” even to Christians.
But I follow the text of the Scriptures no matter what the truth brings to light.
Those truths are sometimes hard or not taken as fact by those in the faith, but I don’t care. I care only about the way, the truth, and the life.
The Son of God said we should make disciples of all nations.
That can’t happen if I’m only secular-friendly to others.
I don’t limit God.
If my books take off further than they have, that’s all God’s doing.
But I won’t stay sour if that doesn’t occur.
I do all that I do for the glory of God.
That might put me at odds with certain people.
I’ve defended Trump often when it’s not popular to do so, because I’m objective and fair in what I see from biblical wisdom.
I pray he makes righteous choices in leading this nation. I must defer to that authority, because it’s not like he’s killing Americans for not agreeing with him. Imagine the pressure on that man’s shoulders. Put yourself in that position for once in your life instead of judging the guy for his ego.
Cancel culture means little to me. And I find it funny people care about that, because a minority of vocal weirdos doesn’t define a large group. J. K. Rowling is as rich as she’s ever been and can’t be canceled by a small group of people.
Cancel culture is a joke. But the truth isn’t funny at all, Jesus being that truth.
It’s not popular to be a Christian today. But I don’t care. I stand by the truth no matter who is against it.
You can have your ways, and I’ll choose Yahweh’s ways over the ways of the world.
May the God of Israel (the horror) bless you always and keep you in His good graces.
Shalom.
