The Root of the Problem and the Brotherly Feud

Another reason I’ve often stated I believe we are seeing precursors to what happened before the last two world wars is the way people (whether it’s a vocal minority or a misguided majority) act about terrorists and terrorism.

I don’t believe in slandering people (or in this case, libel) so I won’t name names, but there was a prominent leftist streamer that once compared the Houthi terrorists in Yemen to Luffy from One Piece.

I don’t know what manga they’re reading, but a hero who is kind-hearted and has a dream to achieve is not the same thing as boats being harassed and terrorized because of a false occupation in the land of Israel.

I’m not a big One Piece fan (though I admire the work ethic of Oda), but from what I know, Luffy would sacrifice himself for the good of other people, whereas the terrorists in our world would sacrifice other people for the sole goal of destroying the tiny nation in the Middle East that is the only place Jews, Arabs, Druze, and Muslims can coexist and have rights.

My point in bringing that up is that I see a strange and concerning movement on the left, right, and center that Israel is the sole source of problems in the Middle East. Especially concerning is the growth of this movement in the Christian sphere.

Which brings me to my main point in this post. If you believe Israel is evil for winning a war that a terrorist group started to begin with, then you have a problem. Because you are playing into the terrorist’s hands and agenda. When you start a war as a terrorist, it’s apparently a jihad of some sort. But when you lose, it’s apparently a genocide. If Israel did that, then they suck at it immensely. They feed the Palestinians displaced by war, always tell them to evacuate even when it puts their military at a disadvantage, and don’t want to kill any innocent civilians. The population of Palestinians has only grown since the start of the war, meaning if they’re attempting a genocide, the Israelis are the worst at such a goal.

If they wanted to do that, they could be done in three or four hours. Hitler would have loved the technology we have today. That’s all I’m going to say on that, though.

But because the terrorists have successfully brainwashed through propaganda, Christians are now turning on Israel in droves and thinking these people are all fake Jews.

Which is weird. Because if you’re a Christian, then you believe in the Second Coming of Christ. But the catch is, the Second Coming can only happen when there is an Israel existing in the Holy Land.

So if these are European fakers (which is funny to me because these misguided people don’t understand the Diaspora that led to Jews not having a homeland for generations), how can the end times be right around the corner?

Is Jesus going to defend these fake Jews from the hostile countries around them?

When the Second Coming happens, will it be a space-Jew, Zionist psychological operation? The Jews control everything, so maybe they can darken the sun, moon, and stars, and cause a global earthquake….

No matter how you look at the conflict in the Middle East, you have a problem as a Christian who is against Israel. Because you need an Israel in the land for any of those events to occur or for Jesus’s return at all.

So no matter how much you deny it, Israel has to own its ancestral homeland for any events to occur.

You have a dilemma that cannot be gotten around.

You say you believe in Jesus (who is the most famous Jew in all of history), but you can’t have Him return to Earth without Israel “occupying” the land.

Quite the dilemma, don’t you think?

Let’s shift to the other side for a moment, though.

I have no issue with Muslim people who are like any other person of faith. What I have an issue with is terrorism (which predominantly comes from that demographic because their scriptures [mostly the hadiths] say to kill Christians, Jews, and infidels). But I can’t get around the Bible naming the specific nations Jesus fights when He comes back. They are all Islamic today.

That doesn’t mean every Muslim is a terrible person who can’t repent. What it means is that the brotherly feud between Isaac and Ishmael and Jacob and Esau is not going away.

The end times is essentially a brotherly fight between the sons of Abraham in modern nations.

Ishmael was never called evil and was even blessed with creating twelve royal lines. So, Arabs and Muslims are still children of Abraham. But the land promise was always through Isaac.

And anyone who calls upon Yeshua and comes to faith in Yahweh is welcome to join the commonwealth of Israel. Your background doesn’t matter.

Christians need to understand that abandoning brother Judah is not the way.

And don’t get me wrong. I think labeling every last thing anti-Semitic and not being able to scrutinize some actions is way over the line.

But much of the vitriol for Israel these days is based on terrorist propaganda. I’ve even seen Americans support Iran over their own nation, a nation that is run by illegitimate terrorists! If they were in the government, that would be called treason!

I’m not here to tell anyone what to think.

Only to do a little thinking.

Blessings and shalom.
