Ignore 99% of What Churches Teach Is Sinful

Being trapped by religion is a place you should never aspire to be in.

Isn’t that a weird thought by someone who is allegedly religious?

Not necessarily, and I will tell you why.

Want to know a secret? I’m not religious.

I think religion is a made-up construct to keep people trapped in a system that does not benefit believers in the slightest.

What I am is a follower of the Way. Interpreting the Torah in a way that walks in the teachings of Jesus.

Religion is made up by controlling churches or the whims of mankind.

Relationship tells you God loves you and wants to make you the best version of yourself.

Religion tells you that you must measure up to a false construct created by church authorities.

This is especially true for women.

Religion will tell you that you can’t be risqué, but the Bible makes no such prohibition.

I believe modesty is fine, but biblical modesty is about being appropriate to the situation.

You should not wear an enticing bikini in a church setting, but having a date on the beach is not an inappropriate situation for wearing such clothing.

Many pastors would scoff at what I just stated, but the truth is, God did not create us to be prude automatons that follow every little thing the churches declare to be sin.

I’m getting sick of churches thinking they can just make up sins.

If I’m honest, I think these people far overstep their bounds when it comes to morality.

Churches do not get to decide what is sinful in the Christian walk.

Most of what Churchianity makes into sinful behavior are the traditions and doctrines of humanity.

If you’re a man who wants to work out to be healthy and also look better, there is no sin in that.

If you’re a woman who desires to “strut her stuff,” where in the Bible does it say that is unrighteous?

The truth is, there is no such sin.

Let’s stop assuming things are sinful when they are often the doctrines and traditions of men.

Improving yourself physically is not an evil goal from the evil inclination.

In the same way, it is not evil to be provocative. I don’t have a single problem with provocative.

Let’s stop assuming churches and pastors have it correct when the truth is much of what is so-called Christian morality is made up by people who don’t rightly divide the word of truth.

Just a short thought on rejecting made-up sins for the truth of the Bible itself.
