Bad Omens

The news has been wild lately.

Four species of aliens (allegedly).

There’s a deal, and then there’s not a peace deal in the current war.

Russia is threatening to blow Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, off the map. So much so that they called Marco Rubio and told him to get the Americans out.

NATO mines were found on a petroleum gas ship that would have blown a port to smithereens, and Russia is now blaming NATO for sabotage.

There will be mass shortages of fuel, motor oil, fertilizer (already happening), and food in the coming months.

We are seeing something similar—or perhaps worse—than what happened around 100 years ago.

Over 100 years ago, you had a pandemic and the Great Depression starting in increments after the First World War.

We are currently on the cusp (as I’ve been predicting for a little over a year-and-a-half timeframe) of the next world war. World War III is on the horizon, folks. Trump has been preparing America and starving out China and Russia with his recent moves.

I can’t help but think of the Venezuelan mystic prophecy that said the end of the world starts with Venezuela. It could be nothing, but as a Christian who truly believes the Bible, I believe prophecy is real. Future events can be known in part—and sometimes—in whole.

Whether that will play out how she said it will is up in the air right now.

But the Bible tells us to watch for signs of Jesus’s return. Now, I will say, I believe we could go through terrible times, and it is not necessarily the end times the Bible describes.

Once you see the Temple rebuilt, a conglomerate of ten kings, and a massive war on Jerusalem, as well as the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by Daniel and Yeshua, then we’re there.

Until then, we might just go through another turning event, the Fourth Turning, if you will (obviously not my term).

The government is spouting how awesome it is that Americans are spending money on credit cards—including groceries—and how that’s great. Huh?

I respect the Office of the President, though.

And at least he has the spheres to take on Iran, diplomatically or by bombing the hell out of them.

Weak men don’t do that. Genuine leaders make hard, unpopular decisions for their nations.

Having an agreeable and appeasing leader would be a detriment, not a feature.

Having soft people in the armed forces would be negative. Peace will only come in full when Jesus Christ returns. Until then, keep nations strong.

I believe many people have their heads in the sand about what is on the horizon.

Massive global upheaval is coming, and we need to be prepared.

Just a quick thought on the crazy world we live in.

Shalom.
