A Short Thought on Getting Through It

If people in your own life don’t see the vision as you see it, then don’t fret.

They aren’t the ones putting in the effort that many people might not see at all. Making things work takes an immense amount of effort.

I work hard at what I do, whether professionally or in the world of artistic fiction. And I know others do the same in their own craft, so I’m sympathetic to putting in the effort.

I don’t believe in giving things less than 100%.

And while not everything will work out to its ultimate end, that should never stop us from going forward anyway.

Think of it like a divorce that had to happen. Maybe your ex-spouse was a straight nightmare or someone you just had to get rid of. I can sympathize with that pain as much as I can sympathize with putting in the work.

The same can be said of our projects that don’t always bloom into full fruition.

We should sever the things that don’t come to full effect for the things that will end up working out beautifully.

The people who don’t see what you see are not necessarily malicious, but your vision was given to you, not them.

This is all to say, “Follow your own bliss and reject that which does not lead to it.”

Don’t stay in a relationship that destroys you, and don’t follow a path that only leads to unfulfilling foolishness.
